No matter how far our country has come we will always have a issue with race. This issue has always and will continue to be a concern in our country. As Americans we do not speak openly about race, but we will subtly bring it up in different conversations. I honestly feel that no matter what the year race will always be something that is thrown around within day to day life.
I have understood growing up that race is something that we are supposed to look beyond, and judge people not by the color of their skin but by their personality. How are we supposed look beyond race when our own senator McCain can not look past the color of another person's skin? In the article McCain uses Fannie Mae's failure against Obama.(http://time-blog.com/swampland/) This is perfectly acceptable, but when he uses two black guys to be the bad guys and than a white little old lady as the victim is when he goes to far.
